In 1944 Ursula Mamlok studied at this interdisciplinary institution of arts – an important incubator for the American avantgarde.
This concert will feature three works by BMC alumna Ursula Mamlok: the kaleidoscopic Der Andreas Garten for trio, Haiku Settings for soprano and flute, and Variations for solo flute as well as selections by composers George Crumb, Alfred Zimmerlin, and the world premiere of Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon’s complete Songs from Comala. Composer Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon will be in attendance.
